‎Dua‬ ‘ for Increase in Knowledge:

►1- [Moses] said, "My Lord, expand for me my breast [with assurance] And ease for me my task.And untie the knot from my tongue.That they may understand my speech.
{Surat Taha [20:25-28]}

قَالَ رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِّن لِّسَانِي يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِي
Rabbishrah lee sadree Wayassir lee amree Wahlul ‘uqdatan min lisanee Yafqahoo qawlee

کہا میرے پروردگار (اس کام کے لئے) میرا سینہ کھول دے ۔اور میرا کام آسان کردے۔اور میری زبان کی گرہ کھول دے۔تاکہ وہ بات سمجھ لیں ۔

►2- "My Lord, increase me in knowledge."
{Surat Taha [20:114]}

رَّبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا
Rabbi zidnee ‘ilman

میرے پروردگار مجھے اور زیادہ علم دے

►3- O Allah! Grant me the understanding of religion.
[ Bukhari 143]

"اللهم فقهنی فی الدین"
Allahumma faqqihna fiddin

اے اللہ مجھے دین کی سمجھ عطاء فرما

►4- Umm Salma -Radhi Allaahu anha- said, the Messenger of Allah -sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam- used to say in the supplication in the morning prayer:

O Allah indeed I ask You for beneficial knowledge, and a good Halal provision, and actions which are accepted.’

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْماً نَافِعاً، وَرِزْقاً طَيِّباً، وَعَمَلاً مُتَقَبَّلاً
‘Allaahumma innee assaluka ilman nafia, wa rizzqan tayyeebun, wa amalan mutaqabilan,.’

"اے اللہ میں تجھ سے نفع دینے والے علم ،پاکیزہ رزق اور قبول کیے گئے عمل کا سوال کرتا ہوں۔"

Allah Almighty says in the Qur'an:
►"When my servants ask you concerning me, (tell them) I am indeed close (to them). I listen to the prayer of every suppliant when he calls on me." {Surat Al-Baqarah [2:186]}

The place of du'a is so high to Allah, that the Prophet (peace be upon him) had said: "Nothing is more honourable to Allah the Most High than du`a." [Sahih al-Jami` no.5268]

We ask Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) to help us to seek knowledge and to bless us with sincerity in our sayings and deeds. O Allah! Increase our knowledge. "Aameen Ya Rab al Alameen"
