Makkah..The place to be!
=================
The Ka’ba
++++++++
The house of Allah, the Ka’ba is in Makkah, Makkah is in Saudi and Saudi Arabia is in the middle of the world. How the creator choose his house, in the center of the world so from every part of the world Muslims comes and witness the Ka’ba.
The Ka’ba attracts from Every part of the world, young, old, strong, weak, healthy, sick, black, white , brown, even children , they all simply comes to witness the blessing and enjoy being here, all with a single universal aim, in devotion to the Almighty.
The Ka’ba, is where one would find people, 24/7 , worshipper engaged in Tawaf (going round the Ka’ba praising Allah) or praying Salah or simply in remembrance of Allah. There is NO place of worship in the Entire World except, the Ka’ba where one will find worshipper every second of the day or night.
The Ka’ba was built by Prophet Ebrahim / Abrahim and Prophet Ismail (peace be upon them) at the same place where Ebrahim (pbuh) left his baby son Ismail (pbuh) with his mother Hajer (RA), in the middle of no where. Muslims Do Not worship nor pray to the stoned structure clothed in black, rather the Ka’ba is a focal point for Muslims from around the world to face in one direction when performing Salah. When circulating round the Ka’ba , one simply indulges in praising the Master who created the universe, who gives us life and takes it back when he wills. During the circumbulation one should be in full devotion to ALLAH and not even look at the Ka’ba. Ka’ba’s also brings Muslim from all over the world for UMRAH and HAJJ , Bonds them and unites them together.
Allay says in the Quran Surah 2 Al Baqarah Verse125 to 127:--
125.
125. "And (remember) when We made the House (the Ka'bah at Makkah) a place of resort for mankind and a place of safety. And take you (people) the Maqâm (place) of Ibrâhim (Abraham) [or the stone on which Ibrâhim (Abraham) A.S. stood while he was building the Ka'bah] as a place of prayer (for some of your prayers, e.g. two Rak'at after the Tawâf of the Ka'bah at Makkah), and We commanded Ibrâhim (Abraham) and Ismâ'il (Ishmael) that they should purify My House (the Ka'bah at Makkah) for those who are circumambulating it, or staying (I'tikâf), or bowing or prostrating themselves (there, in prayer)".
126. And (remember) when Ibrâhim (Abraham) said, "My Lord, make this city (Makkah) a place of security and provide its people with fruits, such of them as believe in Allâh and the Last Day." He (Allâh) answered: "As for him who disbelieves, I shall leave him in contentment for a while, then I shall compel him to the torment of the Fire, and worst indeed is that destination!"
127. And (remember) when Ibrâhim (Abraham) and (his son) Ismâ'il (Ishmael) were raising the foundations of the House (the Ka'bah at Makkah), (saying), "Our Lord! Accept (this service) from us. Verily! You are the All-Hearer, the All-Knower."
This is the supplication which Allah accepted from His beloved Prophet Ebrahim / Abraham (pbuh),
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Why Ibrahim (Pbuh) asked for security first and then Fruits because He knew that to have a peaceful city you need to have a Law and Order first, once the city is secured from bad things like stealing, fraud, killing, fornication etc then more people wants to settle down and bring more business in that city, like these day we say Peace and Prosperity.
When Prophet Ibrahim (Pbuh) was building the Kabah, He was doing the best ibbadah of all, one can imagine that he must be so happy and excited but still He remembers to make Dua to Allah, first of all, He praised him and asked to accept his service not only from Him and Ismail only but He prayed for the offspring, that teaches us that we should be humble in every action what we do.
" Our Lord! And make us submissive unto You and of our offspring a nation submissive unto You, and show us our Manasik (all the ceremonies of pilgrimage – Hajj and ‘Umrah, etc.), and accept our repentance. Truly, You are the One Who accepts repentance, the Most Merciful". (Qur’an Surah 2 Al Baqarah:128)
"Our Lord! Send amongst them a Messenger of their own (and indeed Allah answered their invocation by sending Muhammad Peace be upon him ), who shall recite unto them Your Verses and instruct them in the Book (this Quran) and Al-Hikmah (full knowledge of the Islamic laws and jurisprudence or wisdom or Prophethood, etc.), and sanctify them. Verily! You are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise". ((Qur’an Surah 2 Al Baqarah:129)
Safa Marwa
+++++++++
In search of passing travelers, Hajer (RA) ran between the two hills, Safa and Marwa with the hope of to getting some water and food . No one came by but Allah had his plan, water started coming out from the sand where the baby infant ,prophet Ismail ( pbuh) lay. While walking and short jogging of Safa and Marwa during Umrah and Hajj, one should feel how Bi Bi Hajer (RA) endured, running between the two mount in search for help.
Zam Zam Water
++++++++++++
While drinking the Zam Zam water, One can imagine how Prophet Ebrahim / Abraham (Pbuh) left his wife (Hajer -RA) and his infant son ( Ismail pbuh) in the barren desert land just because Allah command him. And then how Allah blessed the Mother and baby son with a spring ,this water is called Zam Zam which is still flowing today and many millions of Muslims drinks this blessed Zam Zam water when they visit Makkah and not only that, they take back at least 10 Litres each for their folks back home. Zam Zam , what a Miracle!
