Dating in Islam
`````````````
One of the most evil crisis’ to come upon the Ummah is that of dating and inappropriate contact between the genders. Whether we are aware of it or not, these relationships are rampant, hidden behind deleted messages and secret meetings. Evil surrounds these relationships- from loss of reputation and destruction of modesty, to outright zina and abortion.
Anas bin Malik reported, Prophet (s.a.w.s.) said: : “The Paradise is surrounded by hardships and the Hell-Fire is surrounded by temptations”. [Muslim :: Book 40 : Hadith 6778]
There is temptation everywhere and also a right and wrong way of doing things. The best way to get rid of all unlawful ways in life is to read and learn about Islam…in all aspects of life. The choice of a marriage partner is one of the most important decisions a person will make in his or her lifetime so seek to find your future spouse the halal way so that Allah will bless your marriage!
In Islam there is no concept of having a ‘girlfriend’. It is a Western practice yet sadly many Muslims choose to have one.If we follow right guidance we will be directed to the right partner إن شاء الل. If we follow our own desires we will probably end up in a unhappy relationship.
Let’s try to increase our faith in Allah and everything will be possible… We excuse ourselves that; if I don’t have a job so no marriage…for Rizq is written for you and the ink has already dried…so your Rizq will remain yours and whatever Allah pre-ordained for you then no one will change that!
May Almighty Allah guide us all to what is good for us and help us to avoid that which is bad.May Allah choose the best for us and keep us far-away from unlawful things that may lead us to lamentation!!
